Paris Pig Finds Out Where Food Comes From

Paris Pig was too curious about where pork pies came from, and decided to ask Fat Les the Grumpy Lion! He was very grumpy and Paris found out the hard way. This short video is set in Uckfield.

Who is Gok Wan?

Everytime I turn my TV on, this "Gok Wan" guy seems to be on it, telling mingers to take their clothes off! No, please don't!

So I asked a few women "Who is this Gok guy?" and they all scoffed back at me (like I was stupid) "he used to be ...

Ground Source Heating

I've spent the last few days helping a friend of mine install Ground Source Heating.

To cut a long story short, below the frost line (1m/3.5ft deep around here) the ground temperature is almost constant. By using this fact, you can send water in a pipe around your garden, on a ...

Summer Solstice

It's the summer solstice today, the "longest" day of the year. The actual solstice happened at 2359UTC on 20th but as we are in BST at the moment, it did just manage to fall inside 21st June at 0059!

The solstice is when the earth is at it's maximum "tilt" one ...

Off On The Bike Again!

I was surprised how I had no aches and pains after my London to Brighton jolly come Monday morning. Today is my first of two days off in a row (something I don't seem to achieve much!) so I'm going to drive to Eastbourne and "do" the Cuckoo Trail, no ...

Job Done!

Well, I did it, without incident or accident! My first ever London to Brighton bike ride! Yay! (see below for the GPS track!)

To be honest, and without wishing to brag, it wasn't anything special distance wise, although I don't usually do more than 40 miles in a day, 53 isn't ...

Eleven Hours To Go

Tomorrow is the big day.... I've raised around £280 for the British Heart Foundation and, all things being equal, at 0830 tomorrow morning I will leave Clapham Common in the centre of London to cycle the fifty four miles to Brighton.

Thank you for everyone who is supporting me and I'll ...

Where am I in Sussex (or anywhere else for that matter!)

I have gotten myself a little GPS Bluetooth device, which I've borrowed from Eugene and I'm using a piece of J2ME software for my mobile phone called Track My Journey, which allows me to upload my journey, live, as it happens, to the TMJ website.... all very exciting.
