Wow! That's all I can say lol. The weather this weekend has been stunning; yesterday the mercury hit 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27c) at Herstmonceux Castle here in East Sussex yesterday. I have written about Herstmonceux on here before, as I sometimes drive past on my way to work.

I went on two bike rides to enjoy the sunshine. 5 miles yesterday and 7.5 miles today. Today's was a harder ride, as it involved some hills, but it is all fun and I'm starting to feel the benefits (although my legs are a bit like jelly at the moment (that's Jell-O for those of you who speak the strange dialect!).

For those of you interested in weather, last year was the warmest on record. Now look at this graph. It plots this year's daily maxima and last year's daily maxima. Nuff said!

Well, I wouldn't normally get up at 7:45 on a Sunday morning, especially not Easter Sunday, but I woke up at 7:45 and decided to watch the Malaysian Grand Prix from Kuala Lumpur.

It turned out to be worth it in the end!  Good old Lewis Hamilton doing the job, 2nd place in his second grand prix….. poor chap is really going to be feeling the pressure come next weekend in Bahrain!

Comedy moment was provided by Massa, who drove off the road for no apparent reason, costing him three places.

I had a lovely lunch with the parentals today at the local Indian…..  all you can eat buffet!  Yum yum!

Tomorrow is scales day….. see if I've lost or gained this week ;)

Well, today I got my new bicycle and took it for the first ride! It must be nine years since I last rode a bike; I believe that was in August 1998, although I'm not entirely sure. I was 19 then and hadn't ridden for 2 years. I'm 28 now and was quite surprised how easy I found it. I guess the old adage about "it's like riding a bike" is true! I rode 4.5km through Bexhill, where I purchased the bike, and didn't feel too bad after, which was good.

Work was really hectic tonight, I thought it might be. Last year Good Friday was really quiet, but this year, the weather was nice today so I expect a lot of people, like me, made the most of it and enjoyed themselves, then couldn't be arsed to cook!

I will take some bike pictures soon, and you can all laugh at me!

OK, so we had a couple of nice days…… and it probably would have been wise to take a look at the, rather chilly and wet, weather this morning before embarking on a slightly mad whim….

Ah, good old Thursday…. box humping day!  Even thought I'm not working tonight, I have to go and take the delivery in this afternoon, which is a bit of a pox, to be honest.

I've been a bad boy :)  Two bacon and egg butties for breakfast :)  I was talking with a German the other day, who suggested that a fryup was a strange thing to have for breakfast!  I disagree!  It's the best way to start the day (maybe not for your heart, but probably better than smoking).  When I was doing the radio, back in November, Eugene and I did a fryup live on air :)  Here are a couple of pictures……

Of course, no breakfast would be complete without a nice cup of tea and a sit down!

Off to hump those boxes now…. Care to join me?

Put the pigs out in the garden today….. they've been taking advantage of the sunshine, and also keeping the grass trim this week (although today they were on the patio)

In Newhaven (where I live) these is a shop specialising in Biltong and other South African products.  I like to go there once a month or so and get my lunch (when was the last time you had Ostrich or Springbok?).

I had a South African resident message me on ICQ this week, and they recommended Mrs Ball's Chutney.  I bought the chill bottle and had some with my fry up this morning….. it was rather delicious and highly recommended (there are lots of varieties, so give it a whirl!).

Talking of such things, I had a look in JS for the famous Reggae Reggae Sauce from Dragons' Den, but couldn't find it!
