OK, so we had a couple of nice days…… and it probably would have been wise to take a look at the, rather chilly and wet, weather this morning before embarking on a slightly mad whim….

I've only gone at bought a bloody bicycle!

Eating healthy food was never really going to help me loose weight, so decided, in consultation with others, that getting a push bike would be quite good. This is how I justify it:

  • My journey to work is 34 miles (55km)
  • In the summer, there are delays in Bexhill-on-Sea and St Leonards-on-Sea, which can take 30-40 mins to cover 5 miles
  • I spend about £70 a week on petrol – if I save a tenner a week, that's cool!
  • Fresh air will do me good :-)
  • I might actually loose a couple of pounds and get a bit fitter :-P

So…. watch this space. I get the bike on Good Friday, and if it's nice over the weekend, I could well be hospitalised by the end of it!

  1. I think it’s good to make plans and set goals like that. For me at least, it helps and it’s easier to achieve the goals in that way. I’ve set some goals for myself during last autumn and this spring and it makes me feel very good and positive when I realize I’ve succeeded and I’m having the results I wanted. Take care!
